Newbie here - 2003 GTS. A couple questions:

1) there appears to be no spash guard under the engine next to the plastic nose cone. I'm sure there should be. Can anyone confirm this (and where do I get one....dealer?)
2) The engine temp gauges seems normal, but I swear the engine gets real hot....as in after the car is driven I can feel the heat radiating from the hood. Should I be concerned? What should I check?
