2001 mitsubishi ecispe spyder 4cyl..automatic....86,000......is making a weird knock or thud sound when accelerating from a complete stop or when braking ...it sound like from uderneath the driver or passenger side.....have had my trusted machanic look at it and he cant find the problem but deffinetly heard the noise...had the sway bar,cv joints and everything else you could think it was checked and nothing.....it was not that noticable before but it deffinetly noticable now....it drives fine and does not make the noise when turning or driving around only when fisrt taking off and almost coming to a complete stop....any help would be appreciated
