Hey guys...
I am wondering if there is a supercharger for and Eclipse GT 2001...
If there is, I would appreciate it if you can give me some info about
how much hp it adds, how much it costs, and anything else...

and/or

what cat back system should I get? i have been looking online for a
cat back but i dont know what they sound like, and most dont say the
hp gain from it.
as most people desire, I want a cat back that has a deep sound and doesnt
look ricy...

I saw some pics of a dual exhaust eclipse and I thought it looked sick...

Any suggestions, links, pics, etc????

 

RippMODS makes a very very well know SDS kit for the 3G eclipse it comes in stages. They get expensive. But the Stage III makes over 400WHP but cost well over 6k after buying and install

cat back get invidia it is the best if you want to boost the car

 

Oh and dual exhaust is ricey IMO.

the only 2 systems for the 3G that you should consider are Greddy EVOII or Invidia (invidia is better for boost since the diameter is 2.75 versus most others at 2.5) other wise you can buy a 3in exhuast system made for the 2G GST and all you need to do is have the hangers cut off and re welded on to the opposite side of the pipe (which is what I did with my old Eclipse with Apexi N1 cat back for a 2G)

I still say invidia is the best because my N1 was on a 2000 GS and it sounded good but on the highway was horrible sounding. I had the invidia on my 02 GT spyder and that sounded amazing all the way all the time it is deep and it is loud. I also did a Greddy EVOII Install on a 01 GT Spyder and that sounded good all the way all the time it was not loud but it was deep sounding but if you have an intake the intake sound will drown it out and the intake will over power the sound.


All exhaust are only rated at about a 5-7WHP gain on the 3Gs because mods like that are not going to get you alot unless you turbo or SDS

either Invidia or EVOII

they are great for both NA or FI. I still say invidia but it is louder than Greddy EVOII so if you want not to loud but nice EVOII.

again they are only good from about 5-7HP so it wont make a noticable difference I bet other than sound
