Not reliable at all......I've had mine for over a year and yes the engine is solid but otherwise it sucks i regret getting this car so much, in one year I have put over $2,000 into this car, and thats only the price of parts cause my neighbors a mechanic and helps me out with the labor....just my opinion, im hoping to get rid of it very soon only reason i havent yet is not sure what i want and its pretty good on gas for my commute to college every day.

My 2001 Eclipse GT wastotaled in an accident some time ago, but when I owned this car, it was trouble free. I always had a ticking noise from the driver's side front. ( near the front wheel, a very common problem with 5-speed V6's) The sunroof sometimes had to have a push to get started. The window washer stick is way to close to the steering wheel. The replacement of spark plugsonthe V6will cost you extraduring a tune up.

Other than that, I really liked this car. It had good bottom end torque and pulled very linearwith no peaks.I know that many people have had problems with their V6 GT's, but I never hadany problems, mechancialor electrical.
