okay so i bought my first mits.
2003 eclipse gt 5 speed 110k
very clean bought it used obv.
from a dealer in the area.

car drove fine for both of my test drives and my father also drove it.

the first day i got it after going about 60 miles or so i noticed a noise coming from what i believe is the trans. or clutch
happens in gears 1-5 on or off gas
it bucks hard and has a knock at the same time,
i had the drivers axle out and i slowly spun it in neutral by hand it would be smooth then have one spot that felt to "jump" 2 places.
lemon law has me covered on this, but i wanted to check if anyone has had any problems similar

Take it back and have the dealer you bought it from fix it.

Does it buck when your on the gas like the engine is missing??

 

it bucks on or off the gas both very hard to pin point but 1st nd 2nd are the worst times

My 03 GS 5spd has 64k on it. I'vehad no bucking problems but three weeks ago I started to take off normally, I don't beat it, in 1st gear and the primary drive axle broke in two, not at the CV joint but in the solid steel section. The mechanics opinion, defective axle steel.

I haven't had the car long so maybe it was beat, but it doesn't appear to have been.
