Default auto trans slip?

ok here goes I have a 02 lancer es (automatic)w/ 41000+ miles has not been tuned up yet (including trans flush) only mod right now is intake. Now while driving in town 25-35 mph it seems my transmission will slip until I give it more gas. My local greasemonkey said the tranny fluid looked good. I'm more atuned to manuel trans so it could be me. I'm gonna get the fluid changed at 50k unless that's my problem now. any input appreciated It's not so much a problem as an annoyance so far.<edited><editID>madmat</editID><editDate>38122.3170138889</editDate></edited>

Perhaps one of the clutchs are going bad in the tranny. If you want, check out the Translab website, they may make a shift kit for your car. The translab shift kit does a lot a cool stuff and alleviates some of the problems on mitsu trannys.

Well, a lot of modern auto trannys now can take a bit of abuse before going out sooooo..... </P>

Hope you're not like neutral dropping it every red light.</P>
