I have a 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, The transmission broke , two shops said yes, it is done and needs a new one. Why are transmission re manufacturing and re-builders avoiding these? Is there any other options to get this fixed?
im wondering if this car is irreparable because parts are no longer available? design flaw? I have been looking for a Mitsubishi Transmission specialist shop but cant seem to find anyone who works on eclipse. Does anyone know the backstory on this difficulty with Transmissions?
