Hi, i have a 2005 Eclipse Gt, i have done some stuff to it, like megan exhaust, aem intake, excedy stage 2 clutch, and a fidanza aluminume flywheel. but i want to make it so nothing stands a chance at the line. i have been doing some thinking, and the VR4 motor out of the 3000 GT's use a 3.0 V6, which is the same motor as the eclipse GT. my question is whether the Turbo setup off of the 3000 GT would be compatable with my Eclipse? I understand that the internals on this motor would not be able to withstand the boost, and i would be doing a full rebuild with forged weisco pistons, eagle crank and rods, ect. and that the turbo manifold off of the 3000 gt may not fit so i might havbe to get a new one of them.
anybody have some suggestions about this setup?
