Howdy from P.E.I. Canada.. new to the forum.
I just picked up an '03 Spyder in very nice shape with 70k miles.
No service history so going to do the timing belt/ idler/ water pump freshen up asap.
Problem: the keyless entry is not functioning.
Tried the pin 1-pin 4 jump on the obd socket and hazard button push, the power locks do not respond.
Please tell me there's another way to troubleshoot the car's keyless system?
The key does activate the locks, no problems.
The remote has a fresh battery and looks in very good shape... the circuit board looks clean with no cracks in the p.c. board.
So I am assuming it is the module ( receiver ) in vehicle .
I can't find any info to point me to locate and diagnose the module.
I do have some electronic background so any tech help would be greatly appreciated.
