For those that didn't know...... the 4th generation Eclipse does indeed have 9 speakers with the Rockford-Fosgate sound system. I've had mine for 4-5 months and hadn't figured it out (could only find 7) and I've read lots of posts on various forums with others asking the same thing. Well, if you look in the car you'll see 1 in each side of the dash, 1 in each door and the subwoofer.... then you have 1 speaker on each side of the rear seat, but I just found out those 2 speakers are two-waycoaxials, meaning they serve the purpose of 4 speakers. There you have it...... 9 speakers for that badass sound. Later!

 

and jam some foam in between the subwoofer and the plastic body panel beside it. Makes it sound better and hit crisper.
