Eclipse Head

Eclipse Head
I just got a new head for my Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.4L 4cylinder - 2006.
The thing is, I need to put the camshaft from my original head into the new head.
(I'm not new to mechanic work I'm a Diy'er) But I want to be sure that I do everything right on the first try so I don't have to replace things 1000miles down the road.
1st - If I can still use my original camshaft/gear, am I still required to degree it on the new head? or can I put it TDC and just install it back into the car? (Asking this because if I can do that then I don't have to get the tools to degree it.)
2nd - I've been searching for Torque specs on my vehicle but all I find is the torque diagram, I still don't know how much lbs I have to torque them to?? Is there a general rule on torquing?
(I may just make a video on doing this job since I haven't found anything on the net. once I figure the things out too)
I know I have more questions but for right now that's about all I have. Thank you guys in advance for replying!
