Question Shifting gears

i have a 2007 eclipse gs its a manual transmission and its really hard to shift in gears at this. the stick is really stiff and it sometimes gets stuck in 2nd and 3rd and i have to pretty much force it out.

i just bought this car off some guy and i really don't know what the problem is.

is it the tranny fluid that should be changed?? i legit have nooooo idea what to do.

please let me know what i should do guys.

Check the level of the clutch fluid.

bleed the clutch, get a new pressure plate.

Question Note

This only happens when I've been driving for a while. When I start it up for the first time of the day it's fine.
