SOme idiot rear ended me but it looks as though it was only some paint scratched off the bumper. The shop removed the entire bumper and I am worried that the tail lights are going to get condensation inside after they have been opened. Anyone seen this yet? I am worried that my car will never be the same. I only had it 3 months with just 5,000 miles on it. There should be a law against ruining someone's new car like that.

right, but they have to remove the entire rear bumper to paint it which has left the tail lights hanging out. I saw that they had removed them amd just wires were left sticking out. I was like going to see a loved one after they were mauled in a terrible accident. I wanted to find that bitch that hit me and strangle her dumb *** for trying to put on makeup while driving. Why do chicks do that?! Its so ****in stupid!

Just like the idiots that do 20 in a 55 zone cuz they're on their FREAKIN cell phones??? All right first dude quit panicking. If you DO get condensation a simple matter of a blowdryer will clear it out. Even though the lights are off the shop it's at should be keeping them inside so it should be completely fine. Condensation in the wires themselves.... Nonexistant. The shop knows what it's doing. I know it's hard seein the car like that but think of all the cars in junkyards that people take parts off of. Those lights work just fine every time. You only have to worry about condensation when the seal from the bulb housing to the bulb socket is torn. As it's an '06 I highly doubt this is the case. So chill relax and don't worry about it.

not a problem. the only way for condensation to get in them is if they have a leak. most a/m lights do this and some sealing is required but most stock lights usually dont have a problem. is it is a problem, ask the shop to seal them for u. it only takes two minutes. also the wires will be fine cause they are insulated and unless the coating is stripped off them, there will not be a problem.
