Default Removed 1 radiator fan

My son put a new exhaust manifold and down pipe on his 97 Eclipse. The location of the O2 sensor is higher on the down pipe and would not fit until we took off the left radiator fan. It has not overheated or shown any signs that it will but just wondering, the other fan has not come on since we took the left one off. Does anyone know if this would have affected the right fan at all? Thanks, this is my first post.

You need to test the voltage first. Make sure the fan come on if you apply 12v to it. Also, try testing the sensor that's on the thermostat housing. Check the wiring and make sure its making a solid connection.
