Ok well is the amp 2 channel or 4? how many watts rms? what size speakers are you planning to run? (10inch i imagine cause of the post name) What kind of music do you listen to? All these are key factors when picking sub/subs and box.

im going to have to agree with Lil Evo. i hate sony car audio. i wish that I could convince my wife of the same. she has a sony xplod amp. its 800watts but i have yet to see it actually hit a peak that high. im a fan of Kenwood amp as well, and less of the new alpine fan. rockford is amazing.
you might want to custom build a box too. it makes it easier to fit into your vehicle ive noticed. its really not that hard, there are lots of blueprint maps online too. maby check that out.

Kenwood does make a pretty solid amplifer, I've got a couple of their 2 channel and mono amps at my shop (and one in my car ) Some of the bigger mono's will handle 1ohm all day long. Still like the fosgate stuff better, but for the money Kenwood's not a bad buy.
