Default Ipod won't Connect

I just bought a 2015 Outlander Sport and I can't get my ipod to conext using the USB port. Always displays 'confirming the media' on stereo display screen. I have 5th generation ipod touch but I've also tried connecting older 3rd and 4th generation ipods and same thing happens. And all 3 ipods work fine in other vehicles! Anyone have any idea why this is happening??

Hey Mitsu2015. I just got the same model year outlander sport as you back in January. I'm using a 160gb ipod classic and it worked for about a month and now have the same issue you are describing. I've tried different cables, letting it try to confirm for over an hour and wiping/reloading my ipod. Still no luck. let me know if you get any info on this.

Thanks

Update. I found an old iphone3g that i had and loaded about 4gigs of music on it then plugged it up to the USB in my Outlander Sport and it confirmed the media right away and started playing without any issues. So now i'm not 100% if its my 160gb ipod classic that is the issue or the audio console in my vehicle.
