Too Much RMS?
well it is gonna split the signal so each sub will be getting 150 RMS and i dont think that the extra 25 is really going to be a problem. Someone can correct me if im wrong. Also long as you dont blast the bass you should be fine
is the amp rated 300 RMS at 4 ohms or at 2 ohms? and you have 4 ohm single coil subs?
example: I was running 2 CDT EF-8 midbass speakers on a class AB 2 channel amp, at 200 watts each. These lil subs will do 150 RMS all day, but with the amp seeing a 4 ohm load and having a total THD of only .009 it was easy to give them extra power because with the gain sensitivity turned down safely, distortion is at a minimum and the voice coil cannot overheat. Excess distorted signal will send too much voltage to the coil and burn it up. (yes, amps send VOLTAGE to a speaker, not watts) Of course when an amp is driven in excess of its rated power, the distortion increases proportionately to the resisance. For instance a amp seeing a 4 ohm load will have say, .05 THD but when it "sees" a 2 ohm load the distortion increases to .9, 1.0 or higher.

JL underrates the power handling of there subs like crazy and allways have, You will be fine with anywhere from 75rms to 200rms to each of those subs if you have the correct box and dont use the gain as a volume ****.
