02 Eclipse GT: Replaced battery, now starts and dies if I don't give it gas
I recently replaced my battery. The car started, and I drove it about 40 miles. Now, when I start it, the engine dies if I don't give it gas 100% of the time.
I've read a few posts about needing to reset the ECU after replacing the battery, which is done by unplugging the battery for a while, then letting the car idle with all the accessories off. I think that would fix my problem, but I can't let it idle because it dies without gas.
Any suggestions on other ways to reset the ECU or other ideas of what to do here?
Thanks!
102,000 miles
V-6 3.0 Liter
Nothing changed besides the battery.
No problems before this one
No check engine light
