My 02 Eclipse has a really loud rattling idle. My mechanic told me a while ago that it was some kind of loose bearing, I think he said throttle bearing, but I'm not 100% sure. It has gotten worse over the past year.

Is this a common problem? Should I be worried? Can it be fixed?
