I have a 1978 Plymouth arrow which is a rebadged Mitsubishi lancer Celeste. it is a project car. the engine has stopped working. i am in the process of removing it and having the head inspected to see if it is repairable but i am not hopefull

my question is what other engines can be placed in this car that will bolt up to the transmision that i have.
the transmision that i have is a 5 speed transmision that was made by mitsubishi i beleve that it is related to the one in the starion but i am unsure. if any one has any info on the transmision or what engine will work i would love to know? thanks in advance.

 

I think that is the Mitsubishi 4g52b lancer engine. Hope that helps.
