Guys/Gals please help
I have a faithful 1996 Petrol 1600cc Carisma. It's great until the other day when it decided to bother me. The battery light comes on periodically and sometimes stays on whilst driving. I have replaced the battery for a new one, the alternator for a used one and have had the same fault. I think the alternator belt is ok, it doesn't seem to be slipping and tension seems ok. I have taken out the alternator Relay and it does the same thing with it in or out, driving or idling. This car has been great until now, very reliable and i want to keep it on the road, it is not deserving of the great mitsi scrap yard in the sky, just yet. Please help if you can. Thanks, Mark.
