Unhappy 1998 Chariot Front Brake assembly

Hi I have just brought a 1998 Mitsi Chariot Grandis and am having problems with the front brakes. I have taken the callipers and pads out but the rotors are not held onto the hubs with anything but the lugnuts from the wheels. Is this normal??? I need to fins out how to adjust the rotor so it sits evenly in the caliper as the last pads got chewed out rather quickly as the rotor is not straight and also makes the brakes stay on a bit.

It there supposed to be a bolt some where to set this or is it possible there has been some damage to the front of the vehicle that is making the callipers sit at the wrong angle?

It's normal. If the caliper isn't aligned with the rotor properly, clean the hub and check your caliper mounts. If the pads are wearing funny, then grease the slider pin with a little silicon paste and NOTHING ELSE.
