Hi all, Sorry for this really dumb question but...does anybody know how the heck you remove the gear **** from a 2001 mitsubishi space star, i want to replace the one on the space star i have just brought as it spinning round freely.

is it one of those two piece *****? the ring on the bottom has to be un threaded. then it should expose 3 or 4 allen screws. un do those and TAADAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
