Hello. I wonder if any of you can help me please. I have recently bought a 1.8 space star. It drives well except when I slow down to approach a traffic lights or stop, the car will cut out/stall even with the clutch down. If I have the break on and clutch down the car seems to rev up and down. For a few days I put this down to me getting used to the clutch but now I am getting a bit worried that it is a major problem. I have looked on other forums and some space star owners seem to have similar problems. Is this a typical model fault? Does anyone know what the problem is likely to be? Some suggestions have been to clean out throttle, idle control valve, and let car run for 10 mins before using gears to get battery going?

Please please help me. I cannot afford to spend loads of money at a garage on things that wont help. Thankyou. Vicky.
