I have a 2008 Lancer 2.0DI-D GS4 it has done 36000 miles and it started playing up when cold the engine wil not rev above 3000 rpm (always used too) but i can turn the engine off after roughly a mile and re start it and its back to normal untill it gets cold again! I have taken it to my local dealer who informed me that a valve in the turbo is faulty and it needs a new turbo at a cost of £2400 and its only out of warranty 2months Can anyone Help/advise me please i dont have that sort of money to pay that

 

Hi i have the same problem but the garage I trust replace the folty part it cost me £105 u can bay it on ebay or if you go to a god garage they will find it for you and getyt fit
