Default 2010 Outlander | How to disassemble the wiper linkage spindle?

Hi, I need guidance in disassembling the wiper linkage spingle.

I am not sure where to start. I don't want to damage the part as the replacement is expensive.

Thanks

I've just removed mine by removing the securing nut ,starlock washer, and steel washer ,I then had to punch out the spindle as it had rust jacked inside the body, , try not to damage the starlock washer to much as you may need to reuse it unless you have replacements. .
