Just had a Viper remote starter installed by a local company (DriveIn Autosound). When the vehicle is started remotely, with only the daytime running lights on, the left rear taillight does not illuminate, only the right light does.

When remotely started with the headlights left in the on position (which automatically turns off when the vehicle is locked), all of the lights illuminate.

What could be causing this issue?
The lights function as normal when the vehicle is started traditionally.
