Default 5th time is the charm

alright so today i was out and about with my gf and i needed to get gas, so i got gas 92 octane, (premium) and went on driving, stopped at a book store, then stopped at the mall. after about a half hour mall looking spree, we got back in my car (98 eclipse GST) and i went to start it, and when i did it shook really hard and after like 3 seconds it would die, i did that four times in a row, and then let it sit...to call my dad to see if he could figure it out, and he took about 15 or so minutes to come to where i was parked. Then i told him it shook really hard so i went to start it and it started up just fine..(figures) so i was just wondering what could have been the issue with it doing that, i know that everything on the car is running right, the only thing that is wrong is that it has a CEL for P1105 again, and it's air/fuel pressure, basically the cold start solenoid. could that be a problem? or could it be something else?

Default RE: 5th time is the charm

Is this the first time this has happened?
It's possible that the fuel solenoid is bad or it could have dried out hoses. If it is the first time this has happened, it could be debris from the fuel tank making it's way through the filter and for that moment clogged a good portion of the opening until the 5th time you cranked it.
Hell, anything is possible, lol.
I'm glad you got it started back up though.

ya, it could be, i'm thinking about getting a new soleniod, or whatever is needed to fix the code and get rid of the CEL. and then i'm going to get a new fuel filter and fuel pump and injectors that i'm going to be putting in when i get my new turbo upgrade this summer i hope...but it's the first time that its done it.
