Can any one help me with a few probs im having with my car?First thing is my back up lights keep blowing (I have bought 2 sets and after 1 or 2 days thay blow)Allso when i turn sharp i loose alittle power and have no clue as to why.I dont know very much about cars as this is my first one but what i do know helps alittle bit lol.Ok here we go......Having some oil leaking from oil filter and a little bit around the valve cover gaskit(gasket?) i had it replaced but some oil still leaks same with the oil filter i had a oil change done and thay replaced that but it still leaks.Any and all help is welcomed ^_^ thanks

 

i have a gsx so i dont know how much diff. your car is, but on mine there is an oil filter housing and if you take it off tehre is an o-ring behind it. i would suggest replacing the o-ring, beacause i had the same problem. as for the valve cover gasket, the only thing i can suggest is make sure your gasket surfaces are clean before putting the gasket on.

 

Okay ill try that in the morning.......Allso i have a heater prob every time i try to turn it full blast it clicks and wont work unless i turn it one notch below full blast...any one know how to fix that prob?

 

Your heater problem sounds like a worn out switch in the Dash. Find one from the junk yard or try cleaning yours.
As for your lights you might have a short somewhere in the wiring. It will take a while to track it down. I hate electrical prolems cause it can be almost anything.
What direction when you make a sharp turn do you lose power right or left? does it happen in either direction?

 

it will happen when i turn right or left dont matter wich way.

 

lose connections somewhere maybe.. I and it moves and shorts out on corners. do you have any after market lighting NEONs headlights tails turn sigs? what about sterio?

 

Nope nothing.....I have been working on the engine from the time i got it (replaced a valve cover seal,Doin oil change's,Trying to find out where it leaks stuff like that ^^) still need to get 2 parts befor i can even set a stereo inside my car.All lights are stock (from what i know of)
