ok its getting time for the top to get replaced, does anybody know how much or about how much im going to have to pay for somebody to put a new top on?

its just a standard black top, but i plan on keeping the car a long time so i would like a good top, not some cheapo version.

I own a 97 spyder gs. I checked into a new top for mine (black) I was tlod it would be 1,200 dollarsinstalled in washington where I live. It may be less where you live. this was not a dealer price.

 

hmmm. i have found som sites online that will sell me a good qulity top for like $500+s&h. im not ready to tackle somthing like a top like this. seems to far above my skill to get it just right. $1200, was that custom made? or was that with a OEM replacment?

 

This top is a ordered in top, the same as the orig. one that came with the car new. heated rear glass window,inside liner,very nice tight top with a warrenty.this is all done at a nearby auto upholstery shop .they also do complet custom design upholstery work.
