my brother in law has a 98 talon 420a motor. he was driving it and heard a loud *** noise that he thought was a tire blowing out. the car died,,,, upon inspection the brand new p.s. belt was broke and wrapped aroung the crank. we replaced it nut the car had no spark. nothing from the coil. so i replaced the sensor cam sensor & still nothing,, but here is the crazy part. if you unhook the sensor the car will start, but not running right..... if you unbolt the sensor, hook it up and hold it away from the motor it will run. but when you get it close to the spot where it bolts up the car will start to sputter & then die... please help with this...thanks guys.

 

nevermind i got it fixed, timing belt jumped 2 teeth!!!!!!!!!!!!
