Hello- 99 montero xls....over the past 12 months, when on the highway accelerating to 65 to 70 and above a noise almost a rubbing sound emenating from the left front wheel?, a slight tug is felt in the steering wheel, decelerating stops the noice...does not always happen, sometimes it seems to happen on windy days only...any thoughts?

check the barometer before you head out.[sm=smiley8.gif] no really does the pull correct itself when you decel? when was the last wheel balance/alignment/toe in? have you checked the inside of the tire for broken belts?
