Purchased a 97 eclipse for sons graduation. to make very long story short! he blew the engine, the water pump went and took out the timing belt. we had top half of engine rebuilt this week. it wont start?? numbers 1 and 4 are not getting spark, assumed it was the coil pack, it wasnt. after troubling shooting, assumed it was the ECU. Purchased new one tday, well not it either?? does anyone have any ideas? i know there are alot of brainy eclipse owners out there. hoping I can find one!! sorry, desperate mom trying to help college son get his car back.

2. There arent a lot of brainy eclipse owners on this forum, id actually reccomend www.dsmtuners.com or www.sddsm.org. SDDSM has a LOT of smart people who have built eclipse from the ground up and i'm sure theyd have some ideas. Just be sure to talk intelligently or they will give you a hard time.
