Blazing hot rim.
Ok, just got a new eclipse, and when I drive it for around 10-15 min, or longer, the drivers side front rim is extreamly hot. We took temp. readings on it and the rim was at 100 degrees, the caliper was 115 degrees, and the rotor was 140 degrees. Wayyyy hotter than it should be, and the only rim that is doing it. I changed the caliper out because it wasn't releasing from the rotor and just constanly rubbing, and that problem was fixed, but drove it for a while agin after that, and it was still just as hot. The only thing that I can possibly think it would be is a wheel bearing going out, but agin could be wrong. I was wondering if anyone has heard of, or had this problem, and what was it, also if you could give an estimate of how much it cost to fix that'd also be great. Thank you.
