Default Blown A/T Fuse in 3000GT

I own a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT Automatic and Ive had a reoccuring problem for the past few weeks. Whenever I put the car in reverse, the Automatic Tranmission Fuse blows. Once this happens, all power to the tranny is lost and Im basically stuck without overdrive. Can anyone tell me why this keeps happening or what I need to do to fix this?

I dont really know alot about that, but its shorting out when you put it in reverse, so theres something with the wiring that is bad. Ill ask a tranny person and see if I can find out more about that...

You'll need to take a look at the wiring schematic to see what the possibilities are. It could be anything that is energized only in reverse. I don't recall it being a common occurance with with the 3KGT at all.
