bogs at 4K RPM and .5 bar
ok here goes.
I have a heavily moded 97 eclipse gst. 20g ported turbo, wastegate, injectors, fuel pump, cams, ignition.
now everything is running great, until the other day. I am on the freeway and i mash on the gas pedal. all the sudden the engine starts sputtering. i am like s#!+. so it runs but sputters if i push more than 10% throttle.
inspection:
checkd oil - fine
chekd radiator fluid - fine
replaced spark plugs - helped (now runs normal to 4K RPM)
boost - check its boosing fine
a/f - rich (but it is the same as it always is)
any suggestions?

RE: bogs at 4K RPM and .5 bar
i don't know for sure if there is a boost leak. I am just looking at the boost gage. It boost up to 1.0 if i keep pushing it, but it would go up a lot faster before. i don't know what a worm clamp or t bolt clamp is. I know a bit about cars but not a lot about turbos I have worked on hondas up until now. I have a feeling it is a boost leak, because the car runs so strong until the boost gets to .5 bar. also there are 2 bolts missing on the exhaust manifold. would that make a big difference?
