Default Boost controller

i am buying a boost controller for my 98 gst and i was wondering what are the chances of me blowing my engine up, i only play on going up to like 14-15 psi, but i'm new to the whole turbo thing? is it safe, or am i doomed to crash and burn?

Default RE: Boost controller

Your fine... as long as you have a boost gauge that will tell you how high you are boosting. The only way you can kill your motor is leaning out(over 16psi).

yup 15 psi is fine i ran that on my tsi-awd for over a year with no problems. I would just get a basic MBC with an electronic boost guage. It may be allitle more money but it is way more accurate.
