Default camshaft and crankshaft position sensor malfunction...

I recently had the fuel pump replaced in my 2001 eclipse and immediately after I got it out of the shop the rpm gauge started freaking out and the car would randomly stall...I checked the codes and they say that the camshaft and crankshaft position sensor are malfunctioning and that the warm up catalyst efficiency for bank 1 is below threshold. Now I don't like to seem paranoid but I find it to be more than a coincidence that these things happened after it was in the shop, I had never had problems similar to this before. The original reason that it was taken in was because it wouldn't start. I'm wondering if any of these new problems could have resulted from tests performed on my car to diagnose why it wouldn't start in the first place. I'd like to get some decent opinions before I go back to the shop and accuse them of messing up my car.
