can a head gasket leak oil ?

i got a 99 eclipce with 2.0 duel cam. can the head gasket leak oil ? it seems to be coming from there on the intake side next to the bellhousing . is there something i am missing here or is it the head gasket itself ?

I have the same car...mine was doing the SAME exact thing....and was the head gasket. Get that **** checked out!

depends on how bad its leaking. if its dripping and/or your losing oil yea you have a problem. if its just black and grimey but not very wet thats pretty normal. clean the area off and see how long it takes to get dirty again. if it takes like a month thats normal
