Car Wont stay in idle

RE: Car Wont stay in idle
If you're saying, you checked everything, then it should be all fine... But there are some things like ECUs and wire harnesses and fuses and idle control valves/actuators. If you are familiar with electronics than this kind of quest is for you, otherwise take it to an expert. My guess would be it's either wiring problem (poor contacts/broken wire) or ECU damaged (the part that controls idle valve). It also could be an excessive air leak into the inlet manifold and system just can't compensate for it.On the other hand, your air mass flow sensor(if you have one there)could be faulty as well, so we need to know how your car is running if you keep the engine alive... Is there any signs of abnormal combustion like black smoke out orblow-ups in intake manifold? Im not really familiar with your setup, so this would be a universal guide to troubleshooting. Good luck. Keep us posted.

The iac could be bad, or even clogged. I'd say got to advance autoparts or whatever you have, get carb and throttlebody cleaner (make sure its good for o2 sensorsand plastic) open up your intake til you can see the throttlebody. Right by it, there should be an opening in bottom. Thats the iac valve. With ur car on, spray "sparingly" into the valve and throttlebody. Honetly, I just held mine wide open and sprayed the bastard clean it worked. It also gave me better throttle response. Give it a shot, better try for $2 than $200, right?
