i have a 94 eclipse gs with 2.0L driveing me crazy it all started when i replaced the air filter and unknowingly left the mass air sensor unpluged and drove it for 4 miles, it ran good but when i shut it off. it has never ran again. it will start and run for about 5 seconds then die like i turned the key off. i bought a haynes manual, went by its trouble shooter and replaced fuel filter, fuel pump, ecm, and the pump-injector relay by the ecm. all at no help at all. could someone please help figure this out.

 

Hmmm...I don't really have a clue. Did you plug the MAS back in?

I really don't think that the MAS being unplugged for a short bit would have done that much damage... I'd say fuel, but you already did all that. check for leaks?? not sure.. that sounds very ODD to me. when you start it and it kills, does it chug or choke or anything? or does it just stop?
