i installed an intake and restarted my ecu on 2003 outlander. its been about 3 weeks and my service light is still on. Can any tell me why that damn light is still on?

 

Check your connections and see if there are any leaks.

 

well one of my stupid friends turn on my engine when maf was disconnected and they turned the engine on until the engine shutdown by itself. WHen i got everything connected(cone filter and adapterplate) my engine was running fine. DO you think that a code would register on the ecu because my maf wasnt connected when my engine was on?

 

unhook the battery (if you haven't done that) and see if that will "reset" the ecu setting for your MAF
