Cargo Door Interior Switch Half Working

Cargo Door Interior Switch Half Working
On my 1991 Montero LS 4x4 my Cargo door(above rear bumper)is half working. The unlock button works but the lock button does not. I might just have to take the dash apart. Does anyone else have this same problem, any suggestions?
