Charging System problem
Hey guys,
The battery and brake warning light stay on for a little while when I start my 97 Eclipse. I know the lights are supposed to come on if there was a problem with the charging system. The alternator was just replaced about 3 months ago, so I doubt thats the problem. My question is, since I recently put a new sound system in it, and I'm afraid that it may be draining too much power from the battery, and since there is no Volt gauge in it, theres no real way to tell if its the battery...The light does go off though, once I bring it to about 3000rpm, so it may be that I am just using too much power...
