Default Charging System Issue

Ok so long story short my alternator went out after my clutch job, so i replaced it and about 5 days ago my battery died and had to replace it. during this whole time the battery and brake light constantly come on but go away after i give the car a quick rev. i did test the output from the alternator from the battery and the alternator to make sure the cable is still good, which it is...i got only a -.20 v drop. BUT when i had the alternator its self tested, which autozone says its good (even after 3 tests back to back), i noticed the plug for the regulator has a slight burn mark. i have no idea how the test that plug and how to fix it if it is bad. i been asking the idoits at dsm tuners but its filled with a bunch of noobs and i know you guys helped me out every time i needed help.

Thanks TJ

u can usually get a new plug from an autoparts store or a dealer. the connection was probably burnt from ur old one and is now not working properly. the new piece will come with plug and a length of wire to re attach to ur old wires
