My son has a '92 3000 that has a charging problem it seems. His car died one day and we realized the battery was dead. We boosted it and the car ran fine but only until the battery died again. But the battery took a healthy charge when charged with a charger. So of course we suspected the alternator. We replaced the alternator and found that the battery still won't take a charge.

So now we assume there's a problem with a fuse or the relay. My question is, are there any fuses hidden somewhere that pertain to the alternator? Is there any way to test the relay? I hate to just go buy one and try it since it's a $60 relay.
