Colt 5 built 2003 CJ0 OBD2 problem
Hi
I have a Colt 5 - the model CJ0 with 103 hp engine, model year 2003, for european market.
The motor check light is on (after running on LPG, with petrol it's off after 3x drive cycles) and I wanna read it out... tried two different OBD2 interfaces, ELM327 wifi I bought about 6 years agn and one brand new ELM327 Bluetooth.
A couple of Android apps and PC programs could connect to the interfaces but none of them were able to connect to the ECU. Tried out about 7 apps including the Torque pro and Scanmaster ELM.
Is there something particular with this model or is it apart from the physical OBD2 connector not even wired? Do these cars require special cables or protocols or special diagnostic software?
I could successfully contact the ECU of other cars and reset errors etc so I know that the interfaces do work with other cars (Daewoo, Vauxhall)
