I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Colt. (4wd)
Have just recently had problems with the EPS steering.

I would start the car and the eps light would stay on.
shake the steering and it would go off.
Ok to drive and had assit.
Turn car of and start again some situation.

And now it sometimes goes of when you shake the steering other wise it just stays on.

Fault codes are:
C1531 MOTOR TERMINAL VOLTAGE
C1541 FAIL SAFE RELAY STUCK ON
C1607 ECU FAILURE.

C1541 FAIL SAFE RELAY STUCK ON - CLEARED!
C1607 ECU FAILURE - CLEARED!


C1531 MOTOR TERMINAL VOLTAGE - Stays in system
Any help would be so great!

Hi, also have a colt 2005 that I am experiencing the same fault with. C1541. did you find a fix for this problem?
