Default Cordia aircon low port

I have an 84 Cordia Turbo 1.8 A213AMNTR and would like to regas the aircon. The system has been changed from R12 to R134a. My problem is I am not convinced which is the low port. There is a small port on the top of the compressor with a blue cap and L on the cap and will accept the R134a recharge kit fitting. The other port which is larger has a red cap with an H on the cap and is situated up by the radiator on the larger pipe. This aircon was fitted by Mitsubishi Japan when the car was assembled. I need convincing the port on top of the compressor is the low pressure port. I think it is actually the high pressure port. Help please.
Here in New Zealand it is legal to recharge auto aircon as DIY. You can purchase an automotive aircon recharge kit (R134a only) from your auto parts and accessory store.

I try not to touch the car systems on my own. And air conditioning has long been an almost mandatory element of the car. And purely theoretically, we should have the habit of servicing it just as long ago. Air conditioning, like any other car system, requires attention

I try not to touch the car systems on my own. And air conditioning has long been an almost mandatory element of the car. And purely theoretically, we should have the habit of servicing it just as long ago. Air conditioning, like any other car system, requires attention. Otherwise, this insidious thing can take revenge on the car owner and his car. The first one will sneeze, cough and suffer from the heat, and the second one will simply overheat. To avoid this in case of my mistake in the repair, I turn to socool.sg.
