E.g.r. Concern

I have a 1992 colt vista with a 1800 c.c motor which has a replacemen motor from Japan.The cylinder head does not have a E.G,R. port, which is required to pass smog in california what can I do?

The heads should be the same, the egr valve should be part of the intake manifold. Use the usdm intake manifold w/ the egr valve and usdm ecu.
